Claims Shared on Social Media Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention Rice directly, shared a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones stated the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has two children with Rice, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft. Police Reports Reportedly Unavailable No police reports were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have taken place. Rice's Recent Off-Field Troubles The receiver was absent for the initial part of this season due to an league-mandated ban for his involvement in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that resulted in multiple people injured. Rice was given a month of incarceration and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to serious offenses. On the field, Rice concluded the year with 53 receptions for 571 yards and five TDs as the Kansas City finished with a losing record and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first time in a ten-year span.
